In November 2011, I completed my schooling at Beaconhills. I would like to share some of the work that I completed at school. This includes some of my Systems Engineering Projects as well as my IT Applications & IT Software Development work. I have learned a lot about Computers through school and without the opportunities that I have been given at school, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Systems Engineering
I had always been involved with Systems Engineering or Electronics from a young age. With Amateur Radio and my Dad having a lot of electronics background, I always loved this subject. I had created a lot of things which included a Robot, Web Server in a Box and a Electronic Score Board.

I have posted some information and pictures on some pages to share with you all.

  • Robotics
  • Web Server in a Box
  • Electronic Score Board

IT Applications
Since I love IT, I really excelled in the subject. IT Applications focuses on Databases and Websites for the practical and then there is a lot of theory components as well which involve the types of Laws and so on.

I have posted some of my outcomes here to share with you. These includes some of my assessments of Websites, Excel Documents and Databases.

  • Websites
  • Excel
  • Access Databases
Please Note: You may require Microsoft Office 2007 or Microsoft Office 2010 to run these files and have all the functions work to their appropriate functions.

IT Software Development
After completing IT Applications, I continued on with IT Software Development. This subject was totally new to me because I hadn’t done a lot of Software Programming or Developing with languages such as VB.net. I had previously done some programming in C# for XBOX 360 games, but nothing more than that.

It was great to learn how powerful VB.net is and what amazing functions you can do and build into an application. I created many prototype applications, started a few of my own (which remain unfinished) and got some very high marks for some of the applications that I built for my Assessments.

I have posted some of these available to you to test out and see what I have achieved. I have also included the original source code and appropriate files for many to learn on how to use some of the things that I build into the applications.

Small Applications to show one function are:

  • Array Exercise
  • Binary Search
  • Computers & Laptops
  • LCD Demo
  • Letter Frequency Counters
  • Multiple Options
  • Multiplication Table
  • Simple Stopwatch
  • Snap
  • Stars 1
  • Stars 2
  • Text Writer
  • The Maths Machine
  • Website Browser

Complete Applications with many functions are:

  • My First Program
  • Playtime Theatre Company
  • BeeBay
  • Awesome Academy

Enjoy :)
